Introduction to wheeled dump truck
Wheeled dump truck (also known as wheeled dump truck or construction dump truck) is a short distance engineering transport vehicle that relies on tires to travel and comes with a tilting dump hopper. It uses a hydraulic system to drive the hopper to flip and achieve automatic unloading. It is a commonly used lightweight dump equipment in construction sites, mines, and farmland
1、 Core structure
Walking chassis: four-wheel tire type walking, equipped with suspension and shock absorption, strong passability, suitable for muddy and uneven construction site roads, faster maneuverability and easier transition compared to tracked vehicles; Some small car models use articulated steering, which has a smaller turning radius and is suitable for working in narrow spaces.
Power system: The mainstream is diesel engines, but there are also electric new energy models with stable power output, suitable for heavy-duty short distance transportation.
Hydraulic unloading mechanism: The core component consists of a hydraulic cylinder and a hydraulic valve group. By operating the handle, the hopper can be lifted to complete unloading. After unloading, it can automatically reset and is divided into three unloading methods: forward flip, side flip, and backward flip. The forward flip type has a lower center of gravity and higher safety.
Hopper and frame: High strength steel hopper, wear-resistant and impact resistant, can load bulk materials such as sand and gravel, earthwork, ore, construction waste, etc.
2、 Main features
Flexible mobility, compact body, able to enter narrow construction areas without the need for large dump truck operating space;
Automated unloading eliminates manual handling and significantly improves the efficiency of bulk material transportation;
Wide coverage of carrying capacity, small vehicle weight of 0.5-3 tons, engineering heavy load can reach tens of tons, suitable for different operational needs;
Easy maintenance, low failure rate, strong off-road climbing ability, suitable for non paved road operations
3、 Application scenarios
Widely used in construction, municipal road construction, short distance transportation in mines, transportation of agricultural materials in farmland, water conservancy engineering, material transportation in breeding farms, and sand and gravel transportation in factory areas. It mainly completes the short distance transportation and unloading of bulk materials such as earthwork, sand and gravel, coal, construction waste, and crops.
